Bruce Willis… is there a more action packed, wise, and attractive actor out there? I mean really, you’ve got to be pretty darn good to get a movie series that goes on for five films, like the Die Hard set does.
This man’s movie list goes on for days… not many actors are more experienced than this dude. He has a compassionate demeanor, balanced by a tough guy persona. He’s got it all. Some of my personal favorites of his are The Six Sense, The Fifth Element, Moonrise Kingdom, and Death Becomes Her. His movie list goes on for days, but let’s slow our roll here and discuss the top 8 ultimate best Bruce Willis movies, before we lose our heads trying to keep up with all eighty-three of them.
What a career! He didn’t let that Hollywood divorce in 1998 with Demi Moore get the best of him… and he appeared to handle it with such grace.
1. The Sixth Sense
This top of the chart’er has been grabbed $293 million in the US and $672.8 million world-wide in box office sales in 1999 when it was released in movie theaters.
M. Night Shyamalan became a household name after this, and even more so after The Village, in 2004… another one of his that hit big across America. The Sixth Sense, personally I can say, was watched darn near too many times by my mom… and is to this day one of her favorite movies still. I know for me, it is probably in my top 10 or 15 list of all movies I’ve ever seen… and I am a white middle-class young adult in America, so… I’ve seen my fair share of movies.
The suspense, mystery, and shock-value held within this movie is… dense! Almost as dense as the muscles Willis packs onto his mature, classy physique.
