Morgan Freeman’s well-known drawl can be found in plenty of movies throughout the world of cinema, but recently it seems like he is appearing in almost everything and especially blockbuster hits.
Freeman is not only an actor, he is also a narrator in director of films. He has an Academy award for best supporting actor and has received plenty of Oscar nominations as well as a Golden Globe and a screen actors Guild award. Most of the movies that Freeman appears in are box office hits even though his parts are largely supporting roles.
He also does a certain amount of voice work for music videos, audiobooks and commercials. He is the fifth highest box office star with a gross of $4.31 billion. Morgan Freeman is one of those iconic Hollywood actors that people just seem to write roles for and that has his choice of which scripts to take.
Number eight is the film eyewitness which not many people may know. Freeman plays a police lieutenant who is joined by Sigourney Weaver and William Hurt under the direction of Peter Yates.
The thing about the film is that it is the same sort of mystery that has been done over and over again, but the execution of the film is in such a unique way that it makes it a much more interesting thing to watch. For example, the characters develop and very unique ways and as these characters develop you learn more about the history on the periphery.
While this is certainly not Morgan Freeman’s best film, it is a good film to watch and it is one where he has a major role rather than a supporting one so it goes on our list. But the main thing here is that this is actually a good movie made better because Morgan Freeman is in it.
